Looking for a DVD? It's Probably Here!

Have you discovered a new TV series and want to catch up on previous seasons? We probably have it here. Heard about an Oscar-nominated film but didn’t get to see it when it was out in the theater? It’s probably here (current Oscar-nominated films are not all out on DVD yet). What about that hard-to-find foreign film or the documentary you really want to see? There’s a good chance we have it.

The Yocum Library has the largest collection of DVDs in the area including feature films from around the world, TV series, and documentaries. Genres include the usual drama, comedy, action, and foreign. We also have musicals, sci fi, horror, GLBT, cult, Western, military, and many other genres.

DVDs are on the second floor. Turn left after you pass through the security gates. They are shelved alphabetically within genres. Don’t forget to check out our new DVDs which are shelved on separate racks. You’ll see them if you make a right after passing through the security gates.

You can check out a maximum of five DVDs. There’s a two-week loan period for TV series, a four-week loan for documentaries, and a one-week loan for all other DVDs.

If we don't have what you're looking for, one of the other Berks County Public Libraries might have it. You can put it on reserve and have it sent to The Yocum Library for your pick up.
