Fact of the Day : According to Greek mythology what was the goddess Nemesis responsible for? (from The Oxford Dictionary of Reference and Allusion)

Nemesis [Gk Myth.] The goddess responsible for retribution, either for a person who had transgressed the moral code or for a person who had taken too much pride in their success or luck ( hubris).
> A person's doom or terrible but unavoidable fate; a personification of punishment or retribution for wrongdoing or excessive pride
