Fact of the Day

Fact of the Day : What change was made to the national flag of Romania in 1990 after the fall of the Communist regime? (from World Flags)

Romania's flag, adopted in 1848, uses colours from the arms of the provinces, which united in 1861 to form Romania. A central coat of arms, added in 1965, was deleted in 1990 after the fall of the Communist regime under the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
