Street Musicians in Paris, France

This film, taken in Paris, France, 2011, is of street performers or street musicians, often referred to in Europe as buskers.

Public artistic presentations originated ancient times, and took place all over the world. Performers in the past were sometimes called minstrels, or troubadours.

Busking is performing in public areas, such as plazas, subway or parks. While entertaining the public is the objective, the performers hope to be rewarded with money or food.
