Attention Yocum Library patrons: Yesterday, Saturday, March 23, 2013, the Berks County Library system Horizon was down.
This means that your local Berks County library branch could not access your accounts and could not check out books or credit returns, through the system. However, the libraries could do this manually the old fashioned way.. by writing it down on paper.
If you have been trying to access "catalog.berks.lib.pa.us" on your internet device and could not connect it is because the Horizon system runs the catalog.
As of 8:45 a.m. Sunday, March 24th the system is still down.
