Multicultural/International (MI) Club

The Multicultural/International (MI) Club is a club open to all students attending Reading Area Community College.
The MI Club’s mission is to welcome and celebrate the culture of all individuals on the RACC campus and beyond. In addition, through education of the entire RACC community, the club will promote respect and cultural competency/proficiency of all individuals.
During the academic year, the club meets every other Monday at 5 p.m. in the Tower Room of the Yocum Library.

What We Do:

  • Help new international students in adjusting to a different environment
  • Host the Multicultural/International Festival
  • Bus Trips
  • Host Guest Speakers
  • Foster connections between students
  • Community Service
  • Visit nearby attractions


Club Event:
Monday, May 6: Genealogy Event. Ever wonder about your family history? Mary Ellen Heckman will show us how to research our genealogy with computers on first floor of Yocum Library at 5 p.m. This will be an interesting guild line you will not want to miss! All students, staff and faculty are welcome to join. This may be difficult for students who are from another country.
