Islamic Arts Spots - 4.Islamic Gardens

The Islamic Art Spots are seven visual essays, presented in a series of short films which can be viewed in any order.  Together they provide access to the art of Muslim societies through their exploration of seven key topics:

4. Islamic Gardens. In the often-daunting natural environment of the Middle East and other regions of the Islamic world, gardens are sanctuaries of pleasure, reflections of the paradise promised to the faithful, and symbols of humankind’s place on earth.
