Library Web Site Remodeling.During the summer we have been working to update and improve the Library web site.
The “Online Databases” section has been updated to include our current databases. We also include the public libraries’ “POWER Library” databases that you can access using your RACC library card number.
A new page that lists all the online databases alphabetically was added to make it easier to reach the link to a known database. This A to Z listing of databases also makes it easier if you are using a program like JAWS to read our web site.
On the Library’s home page look for a new link to “MLA & APA Guides” that takes you to Purdue University’s OWL web site that has a wonderful section on the style guides including the new 2009 MLA changes.
The Yocum Library is now on Facebook so look for us there if you have an account yourself.
