I read Dr. John Morgan's Opinion published in The Reading Eagle, July 10, 2009, with a feeling of great pride. One of the things Dr. Morgan wrote about touched me.

* " There are days when I look out over the students in my classrooms and marvel at their economic and racial and ethnic diversity, the sometimes difficult journeys that brought them to college and the stories they tell of having the courage to follow their dreams. I haven't found such diversity in one room in many other places - not in other colleges, community organizations or even churches"

I have two associates degrees from RACC and am attending Pennsylvania State University. I am still following my dream and it has been a difficult journey, but I am thankful that there are teachers out there like Dr. Morgan who care about the dreams and help students on their journey.

Thank you Dr. Morgan and all of the dedicated Community College Faculty.
