National Nurses Day takes place on May 6 while in 1998, May 8 was designated as National Student Nurses Day, to be celebrated annually.
RACC is no stranger to the nursing field. Many of RACC's students are working toward an Associate Degree through the Nursing Program. According to the "Nursing Program" page on the RACC web site, this program "prepares students for positions in both acute care and long-term care facilities, and also to sit for the state licensure examination (N-CLEX-RN)."
Happy Nurses Day and Week to all of our nursing faculty, staff, and students!
