It's finally here! The Berks County area will experience a partial solar eclipse today beginning at 1:19 p.m. and ending at 3:59 p.m. We won't experience the total eclipse of the sun, but the moon will cover 75% at approximately 2:42 p.m.
Remember, don't look at the sun at any time during the eclipse (you shouldn't look at the sun at any time, anyway). Use only certified solar eclipse glasses, a pinhole projector, or one of the other methods explained online.
Let us know what you think, especially if this is the first solar eclipse you've ever experienced.
