Have
a research project and don't know where to start? Go to The Yocum
Library's online databases and start with ProQuest Central. This
is the database many students start with because it covers so many
disciplines and topics.
"ProQuest
Central is the largest single periodical resource available, bringing
together complete databases across all major subject areas, including
Business, Health and Medical, Language and Literature, Social Sciences,
Education, Science and Technology, as well as core titles in the
Performing and Visual Arts, History, Religion, Philosophy, and includes
thousands of full-text newspapers from around the world. Coverage
extends from 1970 to today." [from ProQuest Central: About]
To reach ProQuest Central, go to Canvas, scroll
down to Yocum Library on the left side, and click on it. Scroll down to
"ProQuest Central." If you click on that, it will take you to the search
page.
